Now to give credit where credit is due. If you are interested in the book where these exercises come from, they are based on a method by Seth Riggs called "Speech Level Singing". I am not a "Speech Level Singing" instructor, but find these exercises to be extremely useful in the context of what I consider the fundamentals of singing.
