FIVE YEAR OBJECTIVES

PROGRAMS 2007 – 2012

Benefit Concerts:

                We will invite the best singers from the area to participate in fundraising events such as concerts, recitals, etc.  We will hold at least 2 concerts a year (in Utah County), and then expand to other communities with more performances.

School Assemblies:

                Using a small amount of dynamic and education minded singers, we will participate in several school assemblies a month with the goal of educating young people about the vocal arts.  We will use a program specifically designed to be dynamic and educational—created by using techniques and elements suggested by successful school assembly performers, teachers, and principals. 

Composition Competitions:

                In our second year we will sponsor our first annual composing competition, designed to give an outlet for young composers to experiment with their art.  This will assist us in our goal to develop new works of art that give the maximum amount of people a higher cultural appreciation. 

New Vocal Music Performance Competitions:

                In our third year we will hold our first vocal music competition, in cooperation with our other competition—new accessible vocal music will be performed.  More details on the format will come later.

New Music Publications:

                In our fourth year we will begin publishing the best works of the previous competitions together in a vocal book for different voice types (soprano, tenor, etc.).

Note:  Fifth Year Expansion

                In our fifth year we will assess our progress, and determine what steps would be appropriate to spread education and music appreciation further in Utah and outside of the state.

FUNDING

We accept donations and grants from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government, all screened ethically.  Each donation is tax deductible as we have 501(c)(3) status.
