The objectives of our assembly program are as follows:
Adventures in Art Music Is an upbeat, universal program designed to get young people excited about Opera, Art Song, and Classical Music in general. Students will get just a taste of what their own voice is capable of and why classical singing is so powerful. They will learn about arias and art songs, they will learn how professional singers warm-up, the basics of rhythm, and more. We hope to show students that opera can be fun and entertaining, and not just stuffy and boring. Study guides describe basics in rhythm, meter, and more.
